| MarshAnne Landing's 2008 Chardonnay was harvested in September, fermented 1/2 in stainless steel and 1/2 in older French cooperage, left on its lees for 6 months prior to filtering and bottling. The yeast sediment was stirred occasionally. The wine's citrus aromas precedes grapefruit, pineapple, and tropical flavors. The extended lees contact give this wine a soft richness and a long finish. Serve slightly chilled with poultry, pasta and seafood dishes. Alcohol 13.6% by Volume -- Only 40 cases were produced |
