2008 Chardonnay (sold out)

MarshAnne Landing's 2008 Chardonnay was harvested in September. Half the fruit was barrel fermented in older French cooperage and the other half was fermented in stainless steel. The yeast sediment was stirred occasionally over 6 months and then the wine was filtered and bottled. The wine's citrus aromas precedes grapefruit, pineapple, and tropical flavors. The extended lees contact gives this wine a soft richness and long finish.
