Tasting Notes

MarshAnne Landing's Cote du Umpqua is a luscious, fruit-forward blend of Syrah (53%) and Grenache (47%) that is intended for drinking early or cellaring for later enjoyment. Bright fruit berry favors of the Grenache combine with the spicy pepper aromatics of the Syrah to make this a versatile, food-friendly wine.

A charming wine with “Country French” styled flavors. Note the flying saucer, Martians are landing in Oregon!

Description: Aged in old oak, the wine has that classic meaty, appealingly rough around the edges style typical of Rhone blends of Southern France. Have with Cassoulet, sausage, beef stew. Charming.
